01. Introduction

This policy explains how HUWG SERVICES LLC collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our errand running and home help services. The services described on this website are developed and operated by the developer Huwg on behalf of the organization.

The door that our runner knocks on, the lock that our keyholder opens, and the notes that hang on your handle are all part of one promise: your life details stay with the people you ask to help, and nowhere else. This privacy policy spells out that promise in plain terms so you can decide with confidence whether to hand us your list.

02. Scope of this policy

This privacy policy covers every service HUWG SERVICES LLC provides, whether you book one run, set up a standing weekly visit, call our office, write to our email, or simply read the pages on this website. It applies to natural persons and to authorised representatives who arrange errands for a family member, a neighbour, a pet owner, or a client.

The policy also extends to the physical side of our work. Shopping details, prescription names, household layouts, pet schedules, and the fact that you trusted a key to a hallway are all personal information in our eyes, and all are treated with the same care as your name and address.

This policy does not govern third party stores, pharmacies, couriers, tradespeople, or websites that we may use to complete a task on your behalf. Those parties operate under their own rules and run their own privacy choices.

03. Terms we use

Throughout this document, the words below have these meanings so the reading is not clouded by jargon:

  • Service means the errand running and home help work HUWG SERVICES LLC performs, including scheduled visits and on request runs.
  • Personal information means any data that can identify you, a member of your household, or an animal in your care.
  • Run sheet means the record of a task we carry on your behalf, including stores visited, amounts paid, and receipts returned.
  • Key log means the protected listing of physical keys you have chosen to leave with us.
  • Site means the pages delivered from this website and its associated legal and service pages.
  • We, us, our refer to HUWG SERVICES LLC at its Salt Lake City base.
  • You, your mean the person using our services or reading our pages.

04. Information we collect

We keep the requestor information slim and only what a run truly needs. This is the broad family of details that can pass through a normal day with us:

  • Contact details such as your name, phone number, email address, and the address where a pickup or delivery should happen.
  • Errand details including shopping lists, item preferences, dietary notes, prescription names, dry cleaning counts, and event quantities.
  • Entry information such as door codes, gate codes, parking notes, and any physical keys you hand over for a standing visit.
  • Household and pet notes that help us serve a senior reliably or walk an animal calmly, such as schedules, medical reminders, and preferred routes.
  • Financial basics limited to payment method, prepaid budgets, and store receipts returned to you.
  • Communications kept on a short leash, covering the notes and call records that arrange each run.
  • Technical data from the site itself, such as a standard web browser signature and the pages you open, gathered in a broad and anonymous way.

05. How we collect it

Nearly all of your information arrives with your own words and your own hands. We collect it through a handful of ordinary paths:

  • Directly from you when you call, send a message, fill the contact form on this site, or speak to a runner at your door.
  • From the service itself as it runs, such as text checkpoints you request, receipts returned after a shop, and check-in cards left behind.
  • From whoever arranges your care, such as an adult child who books a senior check in visit and shares the details needed to do it well.
  • From the browser in a standard and limited way when our site is opened, never beyond what an ordinary visitor would expect.

We never buy lists of strangers, and we never scrape your details from someone else in order to invite you to buy. Information starts with a genuine request for our genuine work.

06. Why we use your information

Your details serve one honest purpose: to carry out the errand you asked us to carry out. Concretely, we use your information to:

  • Confirm a run window and schedule the day ledger;
  • Meet you at the right address and reach the right store, pharmacy, or counter;
  • Buy the right items and pick the right prescriptions within the budget you approve;
  • Open a door or gate only when a key or code has been given for that purpose;
  • Provide text updates, check-in notes, door hanger messages, and receipts that close each run cleanly;
  • Reply to your questions, manage a standing weekly visit, and send only the confirmations you expect;
  • Meet legal and accounting duties such as recording a billable block and resolving a dispute about a delivery.

We do not use your details to sell goods back to you, to build a profile for advertising, or to share your list with vendors who would then market to you.

07. Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law applies, we process your information on one of these lawful grounds:

  • Performance of a service — carrying out the run, the visit, or the arrangement you asked us to complete;
  • Legitimate interest — keeping a settled, safe practice for keys, bills, and complaints, balanced always against your privacy;
  • Legal obligation — where tax or safety records require us to hold a copy of an agreement or a payment;
  • Consent — where you have chosen to share a preference, for example a recurring weekly visit, and we rely on that clear sign.

Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time by calling +15809977267 or writing to reply@huwg.buzz. Withdrawing consent stops future use but does not unwind work already finished at your request.

08. Key handling and entry access

Few parts of our work earn trust faster than the moment you hand over a key. We treat that act with an entire section of this policy because it deserves one.

Keys are accepted only where a standing need repeats — a weekly senior visit, an ongoing pet schedule, or a series of trades access slots. Each key is placed in a single named pouch inside a locked key log that is used for nothing else. Very few hands may ever reach it, the log is reviewed monthly, and every removal is noted against a run.

Digital codes are recorded in the same protected log and never written on the outside of any paper. Keys are returned in person to you, or to a trusted person you name, the moment a visit plan ends or you ask for them back. We never copy, distribute, or hold keys longer than the service that earned them.

If a coded lock changes or an entry plan lapses, tell us and we update or remove the code the same day. Keeping your entry secure is a shared job and a small one.

09. Location and delivery data

Because we physically travel to shops, pharmacies, homes, and counters, precise location is woven into the service by nature. What ends up recorded is the honest minimum:

  • The addresses of delivery and collection stops on a run sheet;
  • Arrival and completion times noted on the same sheet;
  • Live text checkpoints only when you have asked for them;
  • A returned receipt showing the store and the amount, handed back to you.

We do not run constant background tracking on your home or on the runner beyond what a single finished visit needs, and we do not sell any place, pace, or habit to any third party. Your routines stay on your side of the threshold.

10. When we share information

Our promise is that your details stay close. We share personal information only in the narrow cases below, and never for money:

  • To complete a task, we may show your name or address to the store, pharmacy, cleaner, courier, or tradesperson that is part of your run. Only what that counter needs to help us is passed.
  • To protect safety, we may report an emergency to the police, medical crews, or fire service when a person or an animal is at risk and no better route exists.
  • To meet the law, we answer a valid court order, warrant, or regulator only after a careful check that the demand is lawful.
  • To provide professional help, we may share a short record with our own accountant or insurer where keeping the books or the cover requires it.

Anyone we share with is bound to use the detail only for the service involved and is not free to hand it onward. No one buys a list of our clients from us.

11. How long we keep data

We keep information only as long as a careful practice requires, then we let it go. The working rule is:

  • Active clients have a live run sheet and key log for the length of the service relationship.
  • Finished single runs keep a brief billing and receipt record for tax and dispute purposes, normally no more than the period set by law.
  • Keys are returned at the end of the need they served, not parked for years.
  • Old enquiries that never became a run are deleted within a short window after the conversation closes.
  • Web visits accumulate only anonymous, broad totals.

When a retention window ends we delete files or strip them down so no trace that could identify you remains on our side.

12. Security safeguards

Protecting your details is a physical and digital job at once. On the physical side, the run sheet is small and travels on our person, receipts go straight to you, and the key log sits locked. On the digital side we use these measures:

  • Encrypted access on any device that holds your run history;
  • Limited, named logins so only people who truly need a detail can open it;
  • Secure transmission for the contact form on our site;
  • Routine checks for stray data, old notes, and unlocked records;
  • A clear rule that a runner never shares client details with another client.

No practice is perfect against every threat, and we are honest about that. What we promise is a defended approach that treats your list the way we would want our own treated — seriously and with the smallest possible footprint.

13. Your rights

You keep control of your own information. Where the law gives you rights, we honour them simply on request. Your rights include:

  • Access — ask what we hold about you and receive a readable copy;
  • Correction — fix a phone number, an address, or a detail that has gone wrong;
  • Deletion — ask us to remove records no longer needed;
  • Restriction — pause use of a detail while a dispute is being sorted;
  • Objection — decline processing based on an interest where no stronger lawful reason stands;
  • Portability — receive the details you gave us in a common format;
  • Complaint — raise a concern that we will answer and, if we cannot settle it well, take to the data authority where you live.

To exercise any right, call +15809977267 or write to reply@huwg.buzz. We confirm who you are before acting, and we reply to every valid request within the window the law allows.

14. Privacy for Children

Most of our errands serve grown ups, yet we take equal care around young people in a household. We do not direct the site at children, and we do not knowingly gather personal information from a child without a parent or guardian in the conversation.

Where an errand touches a child, such as a shopping bag meant for a young birthday or a ride that schools a student home, we treat the child as part of the family trust: no data held beyond the delivery need, no photography shared, and no contact with the child except where a parent has arranged it. If we learn that child details were shared without the right approval, we remove them promptly.

15. Cookies and web basics

Our website is a light and honest resource. It uses no advertising trackers and does not sell visitor attention. What runs in the background is limited:

  • A small technical cookie may be set so the site presents correctly and so a form reply is not lost.
  • Broad and anonymous counts of pages may be kept to understand which sections help people find a service.
  • No information is farmed from your visit to market running shoes or holiday flights back at you.

Most browsers let you clear or block cookies in a few taps; the main service, by phone and email, works fully without any of this and is often the quickest way to start a run anyway.

16. Calls and message logs

Calls to +15809977267 and notes to reply@huwg.buzz are the heartbeat of the service, so we record a light series of facts to keep them straight:

  • The time, date, and number or address of a contact;
  • A short note of the run or visit the call arranged;
  • Any key or entry plan confirmed on that call.

We do not record the full audio of calls as a habit. Voicemails are listened to and cleared once returned. Message threads are kept only until the run closes, then trimmed to the billing note, exactly as described in the retention section above. Ask at any time and we will tell you plainly what a log holds about you.

17. Changes to this policy

As our craft matures, this policy may need a refresh. When it changes we will:

  • Update the effective date at the top of this page;
  • Post the revised text here so it is easy to find;
  • For active clients whose rights are touched, send a short notice by the contact channel we already use.

Substantial changes never take you by surprise mid-week. If you keep a standing arrangement with us, we will tell you plainly what shifted and give you a fair chance to read it before your next run.
